Bothwell Motors is an Approved Inspection Station for Safety Certificates (previously called ‘Roadworthy Certificates') centrally located in Toowoomba, inland of the City of Brisbane and a couple hours drive north from the NSW border.

In Queensland, a Safety Certificate is needed when you transfer ownership of a vehicle, when you are registering a vehicle from another state or if the registration has lapsed and you need to re-register a car, motorcycle, trailer or other type of vehicles up to 4,500kg gross vehicle mass.
